Hopper nozzle is one of the most commonly seen equipment during mineral processing. They are storage container used to dispense granular materials through the use of a chute to restrict flow, sometimes assisted by mechanical agitation. When the liquid ore mixture flows into the hopper, it will lead to serious abrasion problems as time goes on which finally contributed to the unexpected shutdown of the plant.
The client told KINGCERA that they plant to use the rubber liners at the beginning, however, it is not so sufficient to do so as the impact and abrasion is much more severe than they expected. Based on years of wear-protection experience, KINGCERA suggested to using the high-wear-resistant ceramic tiles instead of rubber liners. This will greatly improve the whole service life of the equipment.
With the pre-engineered shape of ceramic tiles, the hopper nozzle is fully lined with ceramic tiles by the method of cold-bonding. Finally the customer is so surprised to see such a master piece of industrial art work when we completed their project.
